Welcome to the San Antonio Chapter of IAAP!

The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) is a not-for-profit professional association with 40,000 members and affiliates, as well as 600 plus chapters worldwide. The association works in partnership with employers to promote excellence. Its members include administrative assistants, executive secretaries, office coordinators, information specialists, and related administrative professionals.

The San Antonio Chapter believes in promoting professionalism and excellence through education, partnership, and team effort. Our educational sessions are held quarterly, on the third Wednesday of the following months: March, June, September, and December (unless noted otherwise). Currently our Chapter events are held at the St. Philip's College, in the Bowden Building, Room 221, from 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM.

Our Chapter's programs are open to anyone with an interest to elevate the standards of all administrative support staff. Guests are welcome!

Chapter Objectives:

  1. The San Antonio Chapter's objectives are to mirror HQ IAAP's objective and mission:
    • To elevate the standards of all administrative professionals and to promote their working relationships with management through continuing education, authorized programs, and peer exchange.
    • To be the acknowledged "recognized leader" of administrative professionals and to enhance their individual and collective value, image, competence, and influence throughout the San Antonio community.
  2. Our chapter offers members the opportunity to:
    • Participate and contribute in Chapter events
    • Become leaders/mentors
    • Work together as a team

Pocket Positives for Inspiration
